As you can see I have been busy.
There are a few things I would rather do then make flowers. Like spend the
day with my tax man or go for a colonoscopy. The entire time I kept thinking of
dear Elizabeth making that garden all around her house. How did you survive that
I wondered? http://studioeminiatures.blogspot.com/
I survived by listening to one of the Outlander audio books. Good thing it
has 47 disks!
Still, I have to admit miniature flowers have loads of charm. I am going to
have to work on the color combinations. I wanted some sort of setting for the
French flower buckets, watering cans I made. I am hoping to start making those
to sell next year. And yes... this project will have walls. ;-O
I think a cat popping out of a bigger flower pot might be fun next.
splendid flowers!

Thank you Claude
DeleteGorgeous. Love how they look.
ReplyDeleteHi Sheila,
DeleteThank you very much.
These are really beautiful! It may be tedious but WAY worth it in the wonderful result :)
ReplyDeleteI like some of them better than others. My fault I don't like the hydrangeas, I shouldn't have ordered white.
DeleteNothing is too laborious , if you Love doing it! ;D I for one think the same thoughts whenever I look at your metal work, your needlepoint, your arm chairs, your cats and dogs, your nutshell houses and now Your Lovely Flowers! But I would agree that listening to an Audio Book helps during the construction process. Not only are your flower making efforts Wonderful, but the cat in the flower pot idea is already making me chuckle! :))

Awww Thank you Elizabeth! You are the prize winner in my book for making flowers. I cannot imagine how many hours you spent building that garden around your house. ;-)
DeleteYour flowers look splendid! Well worth the effort and tedium.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nancy!
DeleteI have now visited your blog. I look forward to seeing more. ;-)
Such beautiful flowers!!! Like you I listen to audio books or radio 4 dramas while making miniatures.
ReplyDeleteGeneviève
Thank you Geneviève.
DeleteI shouldn't be surprised to hear so many others listen to books while they are working. It really helps while you are doing repetitive work.
OMG ... everything is just so beautiful and so tiny! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Karen B.
Thank you Karen.
DeleteThe small pots are just 1/2 inch at the widest point. They are the ones I like.
Your flowers are so beautiful, great job!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ingi
Delete¡Preciosas flores!
ReplyDeleteMuchas gracias Isabel.
ReplyDeleteFor someone who doesn't like making flowers, yours are beautiful. But then, everything you make is exceptional!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
DeleteThank you very much. ;-)
I think they are lovely. I agreed with you regarding making flowers being tedious, but I have been working on some landscaping lately and have found it a little more enjoyable than I anticipated. Still, I haven’t pulled out my Pascale Garnier Pierre de Ronsard rose kits yet...
ReplyDeleteThank you Shannon.
DeleteI think landscaping would be fun too. I have daydreamed of a knot garden with brick walkways and climbing roses. I can see small areas for flowers.
Gosh you have been busy! Flowers are so time consuming, but so well worth the effort....they add so much. Yours look beautiful and they are complimented by the other fabulous items you made. Welll done you!!!! X
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda :-)....Only SIX more kits to go. :-( UGH!
DeleteOh dear I've just made an appointment with my tax man - do you envy me? The flowers are delightful though.
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hate going to my tax man. He's 86 and demands you sit there with him rather than just dropping the papers off.
DeleteThank you for your kind comment about the flowers.
Hello Catherine,
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine the work that went into making all those flowers, but they are beautiful and well worth the effort. I love the idea of the cat in the flower pot.
Big hug,
Giac
Thank you Giac. I am looking forward to making the cat. ;-)
DeleteLove the flowers and the French flower buckets 💓! Will you make more French flower buckets to sell? I would like to buy some. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteHi Marisa,
ReplyDeleteThank you very much.
They will be for sale at the Tom Bishop Show (April 2018 Chicago) at Miracle Chicken's table.
