Someone Has Been Out Shopping In the Rain

That someone is me. And yes, thankfully we are getting some badly needed rain today.

I was wandering around Michael's craft store and found these tiny purple flowers. When I saw them I thought they had been dried. No! Instead they have been preserved by some method that makes them feel like you just picked them. I decided to add them to some peonies I made.

I also couldn't resist the William Morris acorn wallpaper I found. I guess I have had acorns on the brain lately ;-) The umbrella was a ETSY find. It is just perfect. http://www.etsy.com/shop/FranMadeMinis The the fabric has wonderful fluffy folds at the top.

  9. Oh, Catherine, thank you so much for sharing this beautiful scene; I don't often see how others use my work but your setting is exactly what I would hope for. And I saw those incredible purple flowers as well! I'm waiting for a coupon but I have to have them -- especially now that I've seen how perfectly they work as minis.

I love, love, love your scene!!!
The umbrella is great and the purple flowers are wonderful with your stunning peonies!

In Germany it is incredibly hot with almost 40 degrees and no air condition. It's terrible, please send us the rain.

Hopefully we will have some spring rain soon, winter has left everything dry and dusty here.
