Moving Along.... Petit Point Carpet Border

This wider border is taking forever. I am so glad I didn't start here. It's very close to nightmare I thought it would be.

I have a new idea for a crazy walnut shell house and I am dying to get started.

  1. Exquisite work, Catherine! Neat, speedy and a lot of patience! Love the choice of colors you chose. Borders can be boring and annoying to stitch, but they frame the rug perfectly adding a lot of details and charm. Can't wait to see the whole finished piece! Mini hugs, Natalia

  11. I am APPLAUDING you for your endurance in slugging through this, the most tedious bit. Even from the small sections in the photos, one can that what you have done to date, is no small achievement. This rug is a MASTERPIECE, so keep at it Catherine. :))

  16. es una verdadera maravilla... que paciencia tienes con esa tela, yo aun no he podido mas que bordar cosas muy pequeñas, no se si podría con algo tan grande...

  17. I've been away so long I feel like I scarely know what's going on in the mini world. I'm so glad to see that you continue to make progress on your beautiful rug (many folk of lesser fortitude and patience would have abandoned it by now). Also delighted to see that you have a new friend at your place, Merlin's slightly crossed eyes only add to his charm I think.

Thanks for your kind note about my furniture :)
