Beautiful!! The chair and the fabric!! -Ara
ReplyDeleteYour chairs are looking great...I am trying to get up the nerve to try some upholstering myself.
ReplyDeleteIt is so beautiful now! These chairs rise or fall depending on their upholstery. Is is certainly a RISE!

ReplyDeleteMany thanks for your tip about shoes on my blog post, if you do have any spare paper thin leather i would be very happy to accept some from you as its not so easy to come by. Tony
They both look lovely! I have a chair to reupholster, I am trying to work up the courage to start!
ReplyDeleteHello Catherine!
ReplyDeleteYour ottoman is wonderful and a perfect compliment to the chair. You have mastered upholstery, but that is no surprise from someone so talented as yourself!
Good wishes to you from Ray

Absolutely perfect!!! Perfectly symmetrical design. And considering you just had leftovers to work with that is AMAZING!!!!! You are SOOOO talented! I love looking at your pictures over and over---
ReplyDeleteIt is such a nice fabric it would be a sin to throw that away ;-) Now William Morris said: Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful. The footstool is both, a definite keeper!
ReplyDeleteBlogger has finally allowed me to leave a comment to tell you wonderful I think your ottoman and matching chair are......simply a joy to see!!!!
ReplyDeleteJulie always shares my ottoman when we sit in front of the TV...almost a must for our furry friends. Love the neatness of your work, I had to smile about the pattern matching, makes me feel I am not alone in the quest to make things in the best way possible.....
ReplyDeleteAnd it is a wonderful idea to use it for an ottoman. I followed your experience with upholstery and I have to say, you do it really like a master. I have tried that many years ago and I know, how difficult it is . Congrats to another step in miniature, which you command perfect !!!
ReplyDeletePerfeito,lindo demais!
