Ottoman

I hated to throw away the silk that was left over from making the chair. There was just enough left to make an ottoman. Not that I feel I have to use it in the house but at least it is an option.

    It is so beautiful now! These chairs rise or fall depending on their upholstery. Is is certainly a RISE!

    Throwig it away it would have been such a waste.
    The ottoman is lovely and becoes the chair perfectly, you'll find a use for it.Rosanna

    Greetings Cathrine, both the chair and ottoman are stunning i love the pattern on the fabric and they both compliment each other perfectly.
    Many thanks for your tip about shoes on my blog post, if you do have any spare paper thin leather i would be very happy to accept some from you as its not so easy to come by. Tony

    J aime moi aussi avoir plusieurs options .
    Cela permet de changer d avis et de ne pas avoir de regrets .
    J aime beaucoup le pouf , il peut aller dans différentes pièces . Sa taille est parfaite .

    It is such a nice fabric it would be a sin to throw that away ;-) Now William Morris said: Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful. The footstool is both, a definite keeper!

    Julie always shares my ottoman when we sit in front of the TV...almost a must for our furry friends. Love the neatness of your work, I had to smile about the pattern matching, makes me feel I am not alone in the quest to make things in the best way possible.....

    And it is a wonderful idea to use it for an ottoman. I followed your experience with upholstery and I have to say, you do it really like a master. I have tried that many years ago and I know, how difficult it is . Congrats to another step in miniature, which you command perfect !!!
